In another case the court ruled that a law which subjected a citizen to the extreme penalty of a virtual forfeiture of his citizenship upon conviction for a mere breach of the permit regulations -LRB- under the Influx from Pakistan -LRB- Control -RRB- Act , 1949 -RRB- or upon a reasonable suspicion of having committed such breach could hardly be justified upon the ground that it imposed a reasonable restriction in the interests of the general public .
एक अन्य मामले में न्यायालय ने निर्णय दिया कि जो विधि किसी नागरिक को केवल [पाकिस्तान से आगमन ( नियंत्रण ) अधिनियम के अधीन] परमिट संबंधी विनियमों के उल्लंघन के कारण दोषसिद्ध होने पर या इस प्रकार का उल्लंघन किए जाने का युक्तियुक्त संदेह होने पर , वस्तुतया नागरिकता से वंचित कर देने का कड़ा दंड देती है , उसे इस आधार पर उचित नहीं ठहराया जा सकता कि उसने जनसाधारण के हितों में युक्तियुक्त प्रतिबंध लगाया था .
